BDK Parfums Oud Paradisio Oud Paradisio Absolu De Parfum 100ml

BDK Parfums Oud Paradisio: A Luxurious New Interpretation of Oud

BDK Parfums Oud Paradisio is a powerful, captivating and opulent Absolu de Parfum from the exclusive Collection Studio. Created by perfumer Jordi Fernández, this sophisticated fragrance explores the contrast between luminous freshness and deep sensuality, bringing together frosted pineapple, precious roses, cocoa and dark Thai oud.

Concentrated at an impressive 44%, Oud Paradisio presents oud through a colourful and unexpectedly soft lens. A sparkling opening of Italian bergamot and frosted pineapple is contrasted by Somali incense and saffron, before developing into a luxurious trio of Turkish and Bulgarian roses. The fragrance ultimately settles into a rich base of cocoa absolute and Thai oud.

The Fragrance Experience

Oud Paradisio opens with the bright citrus freshness of Italian bergamot, immediately joined by the juicy and succulent sweetness of pineapple ice cream. Somali incense and saffron add an intriguing layer of warmth and mystery, creating a striking contrast between freshness and depth.

At the heart, a sophisticated trio of roses becomes the central floral signature. Turkish rose essence brings texture, roundness and sensuality, while Bulgarian rose essence contributes a more vertical character. Turkish rose absolute adds honeyed and candied fruit nuances, creating a rich and multidimensional rose accord.

The dry-down introduces the darker side of Oud Paradisio. Cocoa absolute brings a creamy, powdery and subtly bitter gourmand character, while Thai oud provides the composition with its deep woody, earthy, smoky and animalic facets.

Why Oud Paradisio Stands Out

What makes BDK Parfums Oud Paradisio distinctive is the way it balances powerful oud with unexpected fruity and floral elements. Instead of allowing oud to dominate from beginning to end, Jordi Fernández surrounds it with sparkling bergamot, juicy pineapple, luxurious rose and rich cocoa.

The result is a complex oud perfume that moves between freshness, fruitiness, floral elegance, gourmand warmth and dark woods. It is bold without relying on a single overwhelming note, making it an intriguing choice for lovers of modern niche perfumery.

The Thai Oud Signature

Thai oud is one of the defining materials in Oud Paradisio. BDK Parfums describes the Thai oud essence as dark and intense, with woody and hazelnut facets, subtle earthiness and warm animalic nuances. Its resinous and smoky character can also evoke leather and patchouli.

This gives the fragrance its deeper identity and creates a sophisticated contrast with the bright pineapple and elegant rose accord.

Performance

With a 44% concentration, Oud Paradisio is an Absolu de Parfum designed around richness and intensity. Its combination of concentrated oud, rose, cocoa and warm materials creates a substantial fragrance presence that is particularly suited to evening wear, special occasions and cooler or air-conditioned environments.

The fragrance’s dense composition also makes it appealing to collectors and enthusiasts looking for a contemporary niche oud perfume with a distinctive fruity and floral dimension.

Is BDK Parfums Oud Paradisio Right for You?

Oud Paradisio is an excellent choice if you enjoy luxurious niche fragrances built around oud but want something more colourful and unconventional. The combination of frosted pineapple, rose and cocoa creates a softer and more textured approach to oud, while Thai oud maintains the fragrance’s dark and powerful character.

It is particularly suited to fragrance lovers who enjoy fruity oud, rose oud, woody gourmand and sophisticated unisex fragrances with strong character.
